This is an offshoot of the several-years-old Yahoo Groups — ParenthoodPhils@yahoogroups.com. In its height, this “e-mail only” group spawned many interesting banter about being a good Filipino parent, wherever you are in the world. Unfortunately, the group’s conversations have withered away through the years. So, in the spirit of this once awesome group, it’s my pleasure to rekindle it back through today’s new medium — blogging.
Every Filipino parent, 1st generation, 2nd generation or otherwise connected to a Filipino by blood, marriage or acquaintance, is invited to participate by sharing ideas, stories, reference and interesting websites, family photos and videos and, most especially, inviting others to join this group or page.
Let’s rekindle what good Filipino parenting is all about.
